A New Chapter
This week is a big one. To start, Life in Jeneral finally launched our company rebrand! We’ve come so far since I started this business 6 years ago and this past year has been a huge one in terms of our evolution. LIJ is entering a new chapter and phase as a business, and a refresh felt important to showcase that. I am so excited that it’s finally out there, because this elevated look and feel debuting is the first step towards all of the goodness we’re rolling out in 2021 and beyond.
The new logo design actually drew inspiration from our very first logo and color palette, bringing us back to our roots. While the business has grown and flourished, the heart and soul has remained the same since 2014. This past year has grounded myself and the company so much and brought me back to the reasons why I started LIJ, so I really loved the idea of paying homage to that start of mine as we move forward. In contrast, we wanted to elevate the color palette, adding in a more mature shade of the coral that’s been a part of our brand identity throughout LIJ’s tenure. I feel like we have a great combination of playful, soulful, and responsible coming across in all that we do, which is a perfect representation of this new chapter we’re stepping into.
Speaking of new beginnings, my team has also been helping me move into my new home this week. Timing really is a crazy thing. It feels serendipitous that my move and Life in Jeneral’s rebrand happened at the same time; I truly feel as though I am walking into a new phase of my life, both personally and professionally. We allowed my move-in to double as a team training session so we could brush up on new products, new techniques, and of course have some time to come together and bond as a group. At the end of the day, my team is like my family!
I’ll be sharing after shots and a full house tour when it’s all ready! With this week marking the start of a new era for myself and for this LIJ community, I cannot wait to share the exciting projects we have coming your way soon. Moving forward, our focus is more clear than ever: to help as many people as we can, and to continue to transform lives day in and day out.
